Issue No 21 of City Limits (London), an alternative weekly events listings magazine for London, established by staff of Time Out when the latter abandoned its cooperative form of organisation. City Limits ran for some years as a cooperative and finally ceased publication in 1993. For its first year it was art edited by David King who had worked on the Sunday Times colour supplement in its pioneering years and who became a major influence in British left wing political design in the 1970s.
