1981  Inauguration Committee representative asked TIME to design the Inauguration program for Ronald Reagan. Designing an Inaugural program is immense, becoming a part of American history and preservation in the Presidential Library and the National Archive. Given the honor, Dix designed a 24-page layout with a royal blue cover adorned with 50 silver stars and a gold inaugural seal.
