Street Art created as a protest against the Anti-Gay laws in Russia for the Sochi Olympics

3

A Street Artist that goes by Ida4 (Real name is Chris Fleming) created a mural on the day of the opening ceremony of the Sochi Winter Olympics in 2014, on a wall of a building in Newcastle, as a way to protest the Anti-Gay Propaganda laws that Russia was enforcing. It was his way of trying to get support, as he depicts a gay man being arrested by a Russian Policeman by using the Olympics symbol as handcuffs.
