After Dark “Flying Toasters”

658

After Dark is an early series of whimsical computer screensaver software introduced by Berkeley Systems in 1989 for Apple Macintosh and in 1991 for Microsoft Windows. The software provided over 100 screensaver modules. The most famous was the iconic Flying Toasters, featuring 1940s-style chrome toasters with wings that flew across the screen alongside slices of toast.
