Generally speaking Cassette cover designs are one of the underrated design outlets. It remains unstudied and appears to have somewhat of a formula where it was photodominant, yet the designer had aside from the photography selection and treatment the space to play with typography, lettering, typesetting, and color combinations. In many examples, the designer is never mentioned but it is fair to say with some exceptions, that the limitations of the medium, made the potential for graphical expression amplified.
