"After a battle with renal cancer and the National Health Service’s refusal to pay for life-sustaining medicine , Tony Wilson died of a heart attack on August 10, 2007 , at the age of 57 . His life ’s work at Factory was celebrated by his colleagues and formally incorporated into the company ’s history with this Peter Saville designed invitation , along with his coffin , cataloged as FAC 501.
