"Cho Young Jae designed the official poster and sports posters of the Seoul Olympic games as the head of design department of the 1988 Seoul Olympic Organizing Committee. He had contributed much in this part, so the design department could take a central role in the Olympic Organizing Committee. Cho presented not only a new phase of designer as an art director but also strong leadership and management capability based on his own experiences in managing CDR and developing successful CIs . He made with Yun Ho Seop to build 88 Seoul Olympic events and design concept. Moreover, he planned design project annually from 1982 to 1988, right before the opening of the Olympic Games. Cho had raised Korea’s design on international stage, creating Daejeon Expo, the first international expo in Korea and planning cover artwork with famous magazine design firm in Japan."—http://cdr.co.kr/heritage/
