"Eugene Winslow's lifelong interest in art drew him to the Institute of Design in Chicago where he studied from 1948 to 1951. He enjoyed a successful professional career that included work as a graphic designer, cartoonist, publisher and executive. Winslow served as Vice President of the African American Publishing Company.
