Map of the French National Rail (SNCF) Network Map as of 1976 designed by Rudi Meyer for Roger Tallon at Design Programmes SA.
This map would be used in train stations and inside the trains.
Swiss designer Rudi Meyer was extensively involved with Roger Tallon in the late 1970s as Tallon was becoming a cornerstone of the many new projects SNCF (French Rail) and RATP (Paris transit authority) were launching at the time. Meyer would later also work on map for the RER (Paris express train system).
