Dayton Art Institute Website, 1998
Created for the Dayton Art Institute, located in downtown Dayton, this website was created back in 1998 to provide event, current and permanent exhibit, and general museum information after a large renovation and expansion took place. This website includes visual examples and maps of the museum, allowing for visitors to get specific information on the different sections within it, along with calendars of upcoming musical or art-centered events. Not only that, but you were able to get tickets online before visiting, similar to the modern-day site, and get to know the kinds of guided tours they offered. This archived website offers a look into how the average citizen from all over the world could explore Dayton's renowned art museum back in the 90s.
