Pocket Monsters Diamond & Pearl the Movie - Supreme Ruler of Illusions: Zoroark
Pocket Monsters Diamond & Pearl the Movie - Supreme Ruler of Illusions: Zoroark is the Japanese name for the movie known in America as Pokémon Zoroark: Master of Illusions. This movie premiered in Japan on July 10, 2010, while in America premiered on Feburary 5, 2011. Just like the Revelation Lugia movie poster, the Japanese version of this movie was created by multiple members of the studio OLM, Inc (Oriental Light and Magic) instead of one single individual. Aspects of the poster also take inspiration from previous movies like Revelation Lugia, Celebi: a Timeless Encounter, and Mew and the Wave Hero using the main Pokémon of the movie, Zoroark, in the center of the poster. While also using a variety of typography in the text of the movie. In Supreme Ruler of Illusions: Zoroark, the text that displays the Pokémon's name (ゾロアーク) is in a big bold style like most Pokémon titles from Japan, but has a white color that turns to a red shade near the bottom. This decision is due to Zoroark's ability to shapeshift and the colors to depict its shapeshifting ability is white and red. This color choice also creates a sense of mystery along with the dark blue and purple boarder of the text.
