2010 Tokyo Midtown Design Hub Kidsweek Poster
Designed by 居山浩二 Koji Iyama, this poster was for the 2010 Tokyo Midtown Design Hub Kids Workshop. The poster creates a playful atmosphere through the use of basic geometric shapes (squares, circles, and triangles) and an array of colours. Iyama uses a solid grey background to highlight the event title that is spelt out using shapes. The poster also features visuals of a girl and a boy, also made through the placement of shapes. The arrangement of shapes is also reminiscent of shape-fitting or sorting toys, communicating that the target audience of this event is kids.
