OKICA 沖縄ICカード
This is the card design for OKICA, Okinawa’s transportation IC card. While the designer is not specified, it was the first OKICA design released in 2014. The card features a yellow and orange background that references Bingata, one of Okinawa’s traditional textiles. It is then overlaid with iconic symbols that represent Okinawa, such as Shuri Castle, Yui Rail (Okinawa Urban Monorail), and whale sharks that can be seen at Churaumi Aquarium. The “O” in the OKICA logo is depicted as a sun with the prefecture’s skyline, which references Okinawa’s subtropical climate and architecture.
