This is the Japanese cover for the 1993 Super Famicom game Ihatovo Monogatari. The graphic design team that worked on the game included Hitoshi Arakaki, Tamae Yamaguchi, and Hiroyo Odachi. Ihatovo Monogatari was an adventure game that was published and developed by Hect. Ihatovo Monogatari is based on stories written by Japanese author Kenji Miyazawa. The cover makes excellent use of a collage-like composition to bring together various elements and characters from the game. The man in the middle of the cover with the bowler hat immediately catches the viewer's attention and leads them to believe that he has some importance to the story.
