This Charlotte Hornets game program is from the team’s first NBA season in 1988 and was made for their first home game at the Charlotte Coliseum. I thought it was interesting because it shows an early example of the Hornets identity in print. The bold type, sports visuals, representational colors, basketball imagery and team branding helped make the event feel exciting and important to Charlotte.
