Thumb Hole Collection 1995–2014

A poster created for the “Sam Hole Collection 1995–2014” exhibition held at the Okanoyama Art Museum in Nishiwaki City. The poster combines large “THUMB HOLE” lettering, an image of a cat, and dimension lines and numbers indicating angles.

Tadanori Yokoo became widely known for his poster designs beginning in the 1960s.
He has been active not only in graphic design but also in a wide range of fields, including literature, film, theater, television, and magazines. From the 1980s, he expanded his practice to include painting, and from the 1990s onward, he has worked with multiple media, such as computers, photography and literature.
