This advertising poster was designed by Yusaku Kamekura for Nippon Kogaku K.K., now Nikon Corporation. It was named “Nikon Camera: Fastest Handling “35” in the Field, 1957. ” The advertisement uses four spaces of repeated lines in yellow, blue, green, and magenta against a black background, creating an visual sense of vibration. There is also diagonally positioned typography that goes against the static shapes, visually reinforcing movement and Nikon's claim of “Fastest Handling ‘35’ in the Field.” This work is part of Kamekura's graphic design work for Nikon during the development of the company's postwar visual identity. The Joshibi University Art Museum holds the work in their collection
