This is the 2015 Japanese game package design for Yakuza 0. The software manual and packaging were designed by Yoshihiro Sakuta, Hiroki Osawa, Takashi Nishimura, and Masato Shimamura. Franchise staples Goro Majima and Kazuma Kiryu dominate the foreground of the cover, establishing them as the game's two protagonists. Behind them, supporting characters are layered and get progressively smaller, which helps to create a sense of depth for the cover. The large brushstroke “0” stands out against the mostly realistic character imagery.
