Play (Labs)

Play (LABS) was a group exhibition that linked four East Harlem community gardens together and explore the importance of play for both children and adults. This public art series began in mid-October and last up to Thanksgiving 2013. Functional play objects on a large scale will be fabricated specifically for each garden and programs were also scheduled to engage local residents and visitors.

Featured artists were Iliana Emilia Garcia, Tomo Mori, David Kasnic, Tyson Hall, and Badder Israel “Art Kartel.”
