UNITED NATIONS PMNCH: Partnership for Maternal, Newborn, & Child Health.

Willoughby partnered with the United Nations’ Partnership for Maternal, Newborn & Child Health (PMNCH) in Geneva to design and implement the global "Deliver Now for Women and Children" campaign. Launched at the 2007 Clinton Global Initiative annual meeting in Bryant Park and the United Nations in New York, the campaign supported the broader Deliver Now movement.

The initiative combined Millennium Development Goals 4 and 5 to improve maternal health and reduce childhood mortality. This project notably established an official link between maternal health and infant survival, highlighting that mothers who receive essential care are better equipped to support their children through the vulnerable ages of birth until five years of age. By 2015, PMNCH reported that maternal mortality had been reduced by 44% and under-five mortality by over 50% worldwide. While the goal was exceeded by 2015, progress has since slowed due to economic stagnation, conflict, and the COVID-19 pandemic.
