Airplane Movie Poster

1

Airplane! is a 1980 film released by Paramount. It draws on many elements from Airport 1975 and other films in the Airport series, as well as Zero Hour! It is a disaster-parody film known for its surreal humor and fast-paced comedy. It features gags, puns, and running jokes with a satirical tone. It is the place where things that should not be possible become possible in the most disastrous and humorous way.

The poster was created by Robert Grossman, a pioneer in the use of an airbrush for commercial illustration. He used this technique to create a smooth, toy-like, and three-dimensional finish. The poster features an airplane twisted in a way no plane should be able to contort. It also features a stylized title that turns downward in thick block lettering and a satirical caption at the top.
