This piece was made by Faith Ringgold, and it touches on how the nation has failed people in this country, especially black women in the United States. Black people, more so black women, have faced a lot of injustices in the US, not simply because they’re women, but on top of that, they are black. Ringgold's work emphasizes the struggle of black women and the constant pain they have to go through.
