“Little League Shows” poster

This poster was created by a Portuguese designer, Bráulio Amado, in 2014 to promote a concert by the band Total Heels, organized by the independent promoter Little League Shows in Berlin. The event took place at the Schokoladen cultural space, located at Ackerstraße 169, on April 10, 2014.

Total Heels is a garage punk band formed in Copenhagen by musician Jason Orlov. The group became known in the European underground scene for its raw and energetic sound, influenced by garage rock, punk and lo-fi rock’n’roll. During the 2010s, the band frequently circulated through the European independent scene, especially in DIY spaces and alternative festivals.

The visual language created by Bráulio Amado fits directly into the band's musical identity: irreverent, noisy, spontaneous and anti-commercial. The seemingly "imperfect" character of the poster reinforces precisely this connection to punk and underground culture.
