Design for hardcore/adjacent albums are often overlooked or even dismissed by the general public, mostly because of their chaotic, overwhelming style and music that’s involved. Designs such as these are very underrepresented in the archive at this moment, it’s important to include these works because of the rich history behind the scene surrounding them. 

Released on April 19, 2005, Juturna is Circa Survive’s first studio release. Known for his surreal and dreamlike style, Esao Andrews brought this album to life. The figure presented seems as though she is helplessly falling, which is reflective of the emotional and desperate tone of the album.
