“Mom, Lo Hice” “Mom, I did it!” poster by Ramon Tejada blends personal narrative with visual form and incorporates cultural specificity.  The phrase “Mom, Lo Hice” is typically used as a celebration to signify that one has “made it” either in a job, graduating, or in life. It combines collage with design and tension between structures. It challenges dominant visual languages and expands what graphic design is allowed to be.
