Cut Habitat
“Cut Habitat” is a poster created in 2015 that reflects on environmental destruction and the irreversible consequences of deforestation. The image presents a surreal landscape where tree stumps take on animal-like forms, blurring the boundary between habitat and life itself.
An axe embedded in one of the stumps suggests a direct and ongoing act of violence, not only against nature, but against the living systems it sustains. The transformation of tree stumps into animal-like forms suggests that the destruction of habitat is inseparable from the disappearance of the species that depend on it.
Through minimal visual language, the poster addresses the silent normalization of ecological damage and the gradual erasure of life within compromised environments.
