The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time (1998) is a critically acclaimed action-adventure game for the Nintendo 64, pioneering 3D gameplay with lock-on combat and time-travel mechanics. Players control Link as a child and adult to traverse Hyrule, explore dungeons, and use the titular ocarina to manipulate time and teleport, aiming to stop Ganondorf

The official cover art, character artwork, and logo for The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time (1998) were created by Nintendo artist Yusuke Nakano. Nakano designed the iconic illustrations of Link, featuring a style often described as having an oil painting or watercolor feel, which were widely used in marketing and the instruction booklet.
