A 1955 drawing from one of Wright’s 1926 cover designs for Liberty magazine—designs that were ultimately never published. Wright consistently demonstrated his ability to build a cohesive and imaginative design universe. Wright’s cover designs for Liberty magazine gave him the opportunity to experiment with how ornament could be adapted across various materials and scales.
