This Russian painting is an abstruct one that does not have depict recognizable objects such as people and landscape. Instead it is actually made up of geometric shapes and bold areas of color arranged aacross the canvas. This painter emphaiszed pure visual elements, reflecting the experimental spirit of the early twentieth century Russian avant-garde movement.
