JRE POINT Logo by Manabu Mizuno in 2015

9

This logo was created by Manabu Mizuno, a Japanese graphic designer, in 2015.

The logo combines a circle and a bar, which can be interpreted as the eyes of the Suica Penguin and the sign used in JR line stations. The point system is reflected in the logo through the fusion of the JR railway network and the Suica service.

The main green color suggests JR’s brand color as well as a sense of public service and trust.

The shape of the stretched circle indicates movement, suggesting that users collect points as they travel along the JR lines.
