Green Day, 21st Century Breakdown (Cover Design)

21st Century Breakdown is the eighth studio album by American rock band Green Day, released on May 15 2009.  The album art was created by Chris Bilheimer the designer for many other Green Day album covers. The album cover features a couple embracing and was inspired by the works of Brooklyn street artist Sixten. The couple featured in the artwork are Christian and Gloria, fictional characters in the albums story. The image is based off a real couple photographed in Eskilstuna, Sweden.
