Kendrick Lamar “DAMN” Album Cover

2

Vlad Sepetov, the graphic designer behind many of Lamar's albums, wanted the cover of “DAMN” to be more “loud and abrasive” compared to his previous albums. He went against most of what he was taught which had a positive effect when the album was released. It quickly became very popular and has become one of the most recognizable album covers in pop culture.

The album itself won 9 awards, including the Pulitzer Prize for Music. It remains the only non-classical/jazz album to win the award.
