Sailor Moon Tarot Deck (1999)

Produced by the Lizenz durch EM. TV & Merchandising CO. to officially promote Toei Animation's hit anime Sailor Moon in Germany, this set of cards shows off the adapted animation style taken from Naoko Takeuchi's manga. The audience follows 14 year old protagonist Usagi, and her friends,  in their magical girl journey  to defeat evil, protect Earth, and find the Moon Princess.  Initially gaining popularity in  1992 with the local Japanese audience the anime saw significant success in the international market from about 1997 onwards with voice dubbing.

This promotional Tarot deck features beloved heroes, villains, and moments from the anime in a stylized format that fits the recognizable aesthetic of this Toei animation giant.
