"Campbell produced this poster when she was twenty-three years old and employed by Hudson’s department store in downtown Detroit. It may have been produced with other people, as a note says it was “put together by people who want to communicate about their situations.” It’s a collage of photos, drawings, and texts about the soul crushing nature of work: “Come to work when it’s dark, go home when it’s dark, pays just enough to keep me alive and get me back to work next week—They’re keeping me down—Gotta fight back!”" The Detroit Printing Co-op by Danielle Aubert.
