A Soviet propaganda poster illustrated by Russian painter Leonid Pasternak. Depicts a soldier leaning against a wall and holding a bloody cloth to his head.  The handwritten text reads, “To help war victims, August 20-21, Moscow.”

Pasternak was one of the first Impressionist Russian painters and helped shape the Russian avant-garde movement.
