“Facts About Fallout” Pamphlet
An informational pamphlet discussing how to deal with nuclear fallout from a potential nuclear attack. Released by the Federal Civill Defense Administration, the document was aimed at being distributed to U.S. Civilian populations, costing 10¢ per pamphlet. The friendly tone of the language and graphics serves to make the the threat of nuclear attack seem serious but survivable, with advice on where to hide, what to prepare, and for how long to prepare. While this danger was relatively new and untested when this was released, much of the basic information is still considered valid today.
