Masayoshi Nakajo became art director for Shiseido's corporate culture magazine Hanatsubaki, from 1967-2001. This is a spread he designed from 1976, around a decade after he gained creative control of the magazine. The phrase 「くちびるのすべて」translates to “All about lips,” and the shape of a pair of lips is repeated throughout the page. The design, advertising a lipstick product, is straightforward and flirty.
