Classic Swiss poster by Swiss designer, writer, and influential educator Armin Hofmann for Basel's Stadttheater. This dynamic poster has so little color and no imagery (only line and type), yet captures the experience of the opera.

This poster is in the collection of the MoMA, gift of the designer. Since there are less images of it online, it might be overlooked next to other posters by Hofmann. (https://www.moma.org/collection/works/7722?artist_id=2697&page=1&sov_referrer=artist)
