This is the cover of Guide to Kongo-San (Diamond Mountain) CHOSEN, created by Hisui Sugiura and published by the Korea Branch of the Japan Travel Bureau in October 1915.
The image shows a mountain forest scene of Mount Kongo ( now part of the Korean Peninsula), drawn in a style similar to traditional Japanese woodblock prints. The mountains and trees are illustrated with simple shapes and lines, using bright, clear colors.
