MAKE ART NOT WAR OFFSET

Shepard Fairy's Offset Lithograph

Fairey designed this piece during the Iraq War. It is inspired by the Vietnam War protest posters in the 1960s including the  slogan, “Make Love, Not War” and its Art Nouveau elements aesthetic.  The paintbrushes can represent weapons such as spears or bullets.
