Jaime villa was a famous oil painter from Ecuador.  This book was made to teach younger generations the history of Simon Bolivar who played a big role in South America independence movement. Simon Bolivar was known for riding his white horse Palomo who became a emblem of freedom in South America, Jaime villa portrayed this illustration perfectly having Simon Bolivar riding his iconic white horse.
