Michigan Environmental Teach-In Ad
A Michigan Daily ad listing inviting readers to an Environmental Teach-In at the University of Michigan in March 1970. This is an example of a pre-Earth Day event which lead to Earth Day as we know it today. It was the first environmental focused Teach-in held. The fall of 1969 saw the start of the environmental teach-in as a tool for social and political change.
