Fetchin Bones is a female-led grunge band that was formed in 1983. The band started in the Charlotte underground music scene where their unique blend of alternative rock, punk, and country influence combined with their notoriously high energy live performances earned them a small, but dedicated following. Their fourth and final album, Monster, was released in 1989 and is the band's most popular album. Despite them disbanding in 1990, Fetchin Bones’ underrated yet influential sound earned them a spot in the North Carolina Hall of Fame in 2023.
