The Charlotte Heroes Convention is orchestrated by the comic store Heroes Aren’t Hard to Find, established in 1982 by Shelton Drum. The store has been holding conventions that date back to 1977 starting with the Charlotte Mini-Con at Eastland Mall. Karla Southern is the Event and Creative Coordinator that handles the graphic design and the convention itself featuring nationwide famous artists as well as local artists.
