Devil Summoner: Raidou Kuzunoha vs. The Soulless Army is the third game of the Devil Summoner series of the Shin Megami Tensei franchise by ATLUS. The game first released on the PlayStation 2 for Japan on March 2, 2006, then later released in North America on October 10, 2006. The game was recently announced to have an updated remaster for modern consoles and PC, and is set to be released on June 19, 2025.
Set in the fictionalized version of Japan's Taishō period, the protagonist is a devil summoner under the title of Raidou Kuzunoha XIV. While working as an apprentice for the Narumi Detective Agency, Raidou is tasked to protect the Capital from supernatural dangers.
The visual hierarchy of the characters displays the main cast featured in the game. In the foreground, the protagonist and the supporting characters are displayed to show most of their bodies. In contrast to the protagonist and supporting characters, the antagonists are displayed in order to appeal prominent and actively involved in the plot of the game's story.
