The Belk theater was founded in 1992 and was named after the Belk Brothers company who donated the land for the center. It is the largest venue in the center holding 2,118 people. This advertisement showed one of their first showings of the nutcracker. It was part of a physical print of the announcement of the Belk theaters opening in the charlotte observer.
