Ideas: Recycling Space

11

“Ideas is a quarterly magazine about users and specifiers of Herman Miller office products. In this issue preservation, restoration, and reuse of space for offices is discussed. Large quotation marks are used as a graphic element throughout highlighting quotes by architects and experts in preservation.”

Linda Powell designed this magazine cover in 1978. She made this poster with cream colored “dull coated text” paper and  maroon colored “kraft uncoated text stock.” To create this poster, Linda used offset printing with 2 spot colors.

As this issue was focused on recycling, repurposing, and reusing materials, Linda implemented those ideals into her cover design.
