The UK Disability Arts Movement emerged in the late 1970s and continues today, driven by disabled artists and their allies. They challenged barriers, influenced legal change with the Disability Discrimination Act of 1995, and created impactful art and culture reflecting their struggles. NDACA is a £1-million initiative that documents the rich legacy of the UK Disability Arts Movement, highlighting its impact on culture, activism, and social change.
