These are pages from the Yoruba children's book Awọn akukọ meji, meaning Two Roosters. The book was published by West African Book Publishers in Lagos, Nigeria in 1977. According to their website, West African Book Publishers began publishing in 1963 and was one of Nigeria's earliest indigenous publishing firms. The book is Standard Yoruba Orthography, the standard writing system for the language. The Standard Yoruba Orthography was established in 1974 after several revisions in the written language in the 1960s and 70s.
