Colgate: Toothpick, Tongue, Finger Advertisement.

17

This advertisement from Colgate depicts vegetables in places they shouldn't be signifying how they can be in hard to reach places in ones mouth, that require floss to remove. This advertisement is from 2012 and later resurfaced in 2021 to become a meme, specifically the broccoli.

The first ad features a piece of broccoli in a hot tub, as that is a hard to reach place. In the top right is package of Colgate floss,  with the floss extending out surrounding text reading. “There are places a toothpick will never reach” in a rounded sans serif typeface in white. The second picture features a corn cob golfing with a tongue behind them as a caddy looking tired. Same package of floss is in the top right with floss extending out surrounding text this time reading “There are places your tongue will never reach”. The third ad has what appears to be a stock of green onion or celery a top of a fancy chair in what appears to be their office with a finger dressed up as a butler behind them. Same package of floss, but in the bottom right this time reading “There are places your finger will never reach”.
